At the Shine Intervention Center, we believe that every child deserves the right to lead a fruitful life, one that will allow them to execute their equal rights to be integrated in regular schools, socially mainstreamed in different environments and be empowered to live a fruitful life in work environments and be able to participate in the community at large.

We firmly believe in the need for individuals with special needs to receive the earliest possible intervention by therapeutically addressing their behavioral and skills deficits and work towards a holistic development that will pave way for improved performance.

We develop different ways of helping them learn and achieve independence, developmentally appropriate levels of communication and appropriate social and leisure skills. Key components of our curriculum include teaching skills in communication, social, leisure, independence and vocational skills and behavior.

We strive to increase awareness to more regular schools wherein we can mainstream our children into as well as advocate for more vocational settings and work environments to mainstream our adult students into.

Over the years our center has become a home for persons with special needs...a source of nourishment, with abundance in understanding and tenderness... a place lit with hope, dreams and fulfillment where we embrace them for who they are. We have mainstreamed about seventy-five percent of our students into regular preschools. 

For our students who are unable to be mainstreamed into regular schools at an early age, we train them with the basic competency and functional skills to be able to be mainstreamed into vocational settings.

We believe that the education of individuals with autism be based on the functional need of each individual.  We commit ourselves to provide the means by which we can develop to the fullest extent of their potentials.

We believe that people with autism and related disabilities, have the right to self-determination, meaningful education, personal development, social interaction, gainful employment, and political participation.

Our mission is to establish an intervention center that will maximize the extent of equal rights for education from early childhood years and equal opportunities for employment in adulthood years of individuals with special needs.

To cater to the increasing needs of our adolescent and adult students, our mission is to provide more advanced vocational skills training to empower them with encouragement to aim higher.

Our vision is to be an alternative school for adolescent and adult mainstreaming... a venue for domestic independent living training and a provider of support employment services for adults with autism, communication handicaps and other related disorders.

Our mission is to establish a transition program for adults with autism and related handicaps and train them with skills that will pave way for their equal right for employment opportunities.

We dedicate ourselves to advocate for their rights and educate the public in our attempts to help build a society that will allow them to learn, to grow, to achieve, to dream, and be respected as members of the communities they live in.
